Cook the dumpling
Boil Water: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Ensure there's enough water to submerge the dumplings completely.
Add Dumplings: Carefully drop the free-range dumplings into the boiling water. Gently stir to prevent sticking.
Cook Dumplings: Boil the dumplings for about 5-6 minutes or until they float to the surface. Keep an eye on them to avoid overcooking.
Prepare Dipping Sauce: 5 different sauces to choose from, depending on your preference!
Traditional Soy Ginger Dipping Sauce:
- Soy sauce
- Rice vinegar
- Freshly grated ginger
- A touch of sugar (optional)
- Chopped green onions or cilantro for garnis
Ponzu Dipping Sauce:
- Ponzu sauce (a citrus-based soy sauce)
- Sesame oil
- Rice vinegar
- A pinch of sugar
- Finely chopped green onions
Creamy Peanut Dipping Sauce:
- Peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
- Soy sauce
- Rice vinegar
- Sesame oil
- Garlic powder or minced garlic
- Water (to thin out the sauce to desired consistency)
Garlic Sesame Dipping Sauce:
- Soy sauce
- Minced garlic
- Toasted sesame oil
- Rice vinegar
- Red pepper flakes (for a kick)
Hoisin-Soy Dipping Sauce:
- Hoisin sauce
- Soy sauce
- Rice vinegar
- Sesame oil
- Thinly sliced green onions
Serve the dumplings hot with the prepared dipping sauce on the side.
