Cook the rice!
1. Heat up the Iberico Char Siew:
a. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C.
b. Wrap the Iberico pork belly in aluminium foil.
c. Reduce oven temp to 180 degrees C and bake for 20mins.
d. Open the aluminium foil to expose the pork belly and increase the Temperature to the 200 degree C for about
3 - 5 min to char the pork belly.
2. Cook the egg
a. When Water boils, placed the ambient egg into the water for 6mins.
b. Prepare a bowl of ice water.
c. Take out the cooked egg when it reaches 6mins, place the eggs on the bowl of ice water immediately.
d. Peel the egg, Cut and put on the plate of cooked Iberico Char Siew.
3. Cooking the veg
a. Cut the veg of your choice
b. Prepare a pot of boiling water, add 1 table spoon of salt
c. Prepare a bowl of ice water
d. After blanching the vege, put the vege in the ice water and place it on the plate.
4. Assemble the Dish:
a. Serve the cooked Iberico Char Siew over a bed of jasmine rice.
b. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds for extra flavor and presentation.
